Room Attendants are responsible for making sure our rooms are always fresh and welcoming for our guests upon arrival and throughout their stay. Room Attendants must have attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to clean rooms and public areas thoroughly in order to succeed in this position. Room Attendants play a physical role and will be on their feet for the entire day. Room Attendants must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends or holidays, if needed.
Your day-to-day:
Be in uniform with nametag and black non-skid shoes at all times.
Make sure our rooms are clean as per the brand standards.
Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, products, and housekeeping carts.
Keep all public areas neat and tidy.
Help guests with any special requests or needs.
Keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed.
Stay on top of supplies and organization, and always try to minimize waste.
Log any lost and found property in the room.
Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
Assist with deep cleaning projects as directed.
Must be able to clean a checkout room within 30 minutes and a stayover room within 20 minutes.
Act with honesty and integrity at all times throughout your job duties.
Must be able to lift 50lbs comfortably.
Perform other duties as assigned to you.
Must follow and complete daily checklist provided by the General Manager.
