Chef Timon Balloo is now hiring a FOH staff such as server / shift supervisor for The Katherine Restaurant in Las Olas, Ft. Lauderdale. Chef Timon Balloo is a 3x James Beard nominated chef, who has created many restaurant brands in Miami, NY, and Las Vegas
The Katherine is looking for dynamic, friendly/outgoing personality, enthusiastic and ambitious Front of House staff to work full time, with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team. The applicant requires fine dining experience, knowledge of wine. We expect a high quality of service and attitude along with a passion for our style of cuisine. The ability to show up on time, multi-tasking, a strong work ethic, and teamwork are the qualities we are looking for.
Candidates must have:
- Have experience working in a fine dining environment
- Be able to work flexible schedules, shift may vary based on business needs
- Have great communication skills
- Be eligible to work in the United States
Job Summary
Serves food to patrons in a dining establishment.
Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food.
Takes customer orders by writing them down or memorizing them.
Presents orders to the cooks on behalf of the patrons.
Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to cashier.
Clears or resets table at the end of each course.
Thanks patrons and kindly invites them back for future dining.
