Flora is hiring a part-time Server for our busy weekend brunch service.
Server Job Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years in full-service restaurants.
Availability: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for high-volume brunch; some holiday weekends as needed.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of beer, wine, and cocktails; solid general food & beverage knowledge.
Communication: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Teamwork: Works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical: Able to stand, walk, and move throughout the restaurant during long shifts.
Tech Skills: POS system experience required.
Customer Focus: Friendly, punctual, detail-oriented, and committed to quality service.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Professionalism: Positive attitude, reliable, and eager to represent the Flora brand.
Compliance: Follows all local health, safety, and alcohol-service regulations.
Server Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Interaction: Welcome guests warmly, take orders, answer questions, and ensure a great dining experience from start to finish.
Service Execution: Deliver food/drinks promptly and accurately; check back consistently and handle guest requests.
Table Maintenance: Clear, reset, and maintain tables efficiently during high-volume brunch service.
Team Communication: Work closely with servers, runners, bar staff, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure smooth service.
Prep & Side Work: Complete opening and closing duties, stock stations, polish glassware, and organize supplies.
Menu Knowledge: Learn all menu items, weekend specials, beverages, and allergy details.
Order Management: Enter orders into the P3OS accurately and process payments; upsell when appropriate.
Cleanliness: Keep the dining room, service areas, and restrooms clean throughout the shift.
Compliance: Follow all alcohol-service laws and Flora standards.3
