Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team, focusing on the critical tasks of cleaning rooms and sterilizing instruments to ensure our office operates efficiently and effectively. As a key member of our staff, your primary responsibility will be to maintain impeccable hygiene standards in treatment areas and prepare rooms swiftly for each patient, thereby enhancing the smooth flow of daily operations.
In this role, you will be expected to thoroughly clean and disinfect dental operatory rooms between patient appointments, ensuring that each space is organized and well-prepared for the next patient. This includes the proper sterilization of dental tools and equipment according to industry standards and our office protocols. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict sanitation guidelines will contribute significantly to preventing cross-contamination and maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Additionally, your duties will include routinely checking and maintaining dental equipment, and assisting with setting up the necessary tools for various dental procedures as needed. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent time management skills, capable of working efficiently under pressure, and committed to delivering the highest level of cleanliness and organization. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring all necessary tools and supplies are available.
Taking x-rays and CBCT’s.
Sterilizing instruments and ensuring proper infection control procedures are followed.
Assisting with front office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Qualifications:
Experienced dental assistant preferred, willing to train the right candidate. New Dental Assisting program graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and a commitment to using aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
