Job Title: Area Manager
Facility Services company seeks an AREA MANAGER for its Commercial Janitorial Services.
Experience in Janitorial/Cleaning Services is required.
Position is on company's corporate management team. Ideal candidate will bring previous janitorial experience and be able to assume management and supervisory duties in a fast paced company serving commercial clients throughout Florida.
Area Manager will:
> Manage and Supervise employees at various service locations throughout Florida.
> Help with some work, deliver cleaning supplies, inspect cleanliness of areas and train cleaners.
> Drive company vehicle to all locations for supervision and with needed equipment and supplies.
> Prepare and manage employee schedules, resolve issues, ensure schedules are met and locations are clean.
> Cover open spots with floaters or self when necessary, avoiding overtime expenses.
> Assist with general assignments, operational needs, equipment and preparing cleaning needs.
> Be able to occasionally travel for the day or overnight to our service locations. Expected about 15% to 25% depending on needs.
> Area Manager will have "On-Call" responsibilities for emergencies and operational needs.
> Have flexibility to conduct supervisory visits and work on some evenings.
