Position Overview:
We are seeking a Facilities Supervisor to support day-to-day operations and ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the property. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, manage vendors, and help keep all building systems operating at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily janitorial operations.
Perform routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and common areas to identify issues or hazards.
Assist with scheduling preventive maintenance and minor repairs for equipment.
Oversee vendors and contractors performing on-site services and projects (upon request).
Maintain facility records, inspection logs, and safety documentation.
Support emergency response and storm preparedness plans as needed.
Work closely with the Facilities Manager to implement operational goals and capital improvements.
Ensure all work complies with OSHA, ADA, and local safety regulations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in facility maintenance or property operations (retail, hospitality, or commercial property preferred).
Strong knowledge of building systems and janitorial tools/procedures.
Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to lift/move equipment and be on feet for extended periods.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable due to the diverse tenant and visitor population.
Morning Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Friday) shifts may vary
