Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with a 74-year-old man with Parkinson's disease and dementia.
Responsibilities:
1. Personal care activities, including medication reminders, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, light housekeeping,
feeding, and meal preparation.
2. Ability to provide senior care and assist with activities of daily living.
3. Provides companionship for the patient, recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, and activities that keep the
patient entertained.
4. Team leader: helping to develop and maintain shift schedules and task organization for other caregivers, coordinating
shifts and/or replacements, will lead other caregivers in terms of organization.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in caregiving, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting.
2. Empathetic and friendly attitude, punctual, trustworthy.
3. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
4. Fluent in both English and Spanish.
5. Valid driver's license and social security number.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Salary:
$30 per hour.
