Traveling Retail & Facility Maintenance Lead Technician
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to travel for retail and commercial projects across multiple states. This role includes hands-on work, site supervision, and leading small crews on jobs out of town.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance, repairs, and light construction tasks (carpentry, flooring, painting, minor electrical/plumbing, etc.).
Lead on-site crews and ensure work is completed per scope and timeline.
Travel frequently, including out-of-state trips for multi-day or multi-week projects.
Coordinate with project managers and clients as needed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and basic job documentation.
Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial or retail maintenance.
Ability to lead small teams and manage on-site work independently.
Must be comfortable traveling for extended periods (week-long or longer trips).
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Strong work ethic, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Experience with light demo, flooring, partitions, or fixture installation.
This is a traveling position—do not apply if you are unable or unwilling to travel regularly. Pay based on experience, with potential for advancement.
