We are a busy small business wood shop looking for a dependable, detail-oriented MILLWORK HELPER to join our team long term. This position will involve assisting with millwork production, deliveries, and general shop upkeep.
Responsibilities:
Assist in millwork manufacturing (approx. 80% of time).
Help with deliveries, loading/unloading, and handling logistics (approx. 10%).
Perform general shop cleanup and occasional on-site support (approx. 10%).
Follow directions carefully and support lead millworkers on projects.
Work safely with tools, materials, and equipment.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE reliable transportation.
Able to lift, move, and carry heavy materials.
Basic shop knowledge and willingness to learn.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive “can-do” attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
Good communication skills (Spanish a plus).
Comfortable driving a pickup truck when required (manual transmission a plus).
