INTERNSHIP - Office Assistant

Florida Global University is seeking for an responsible, organized, and proactive Office / Administrative Assistant Intern to support daily operations within our international academic and administrative departments.

This role is prefererly on site, our main goal is to provide hands-on experience producing visual assets for an international educational institution.

Ideal for students or emerging professionals interested in administration, academic services, data management, student support, and institutional operations

Primary Responsibilities (Office Assistant focus):

1) Assist with administrative tasks, such as digital filing and document management.

2) Support database updates, organization of records, and basic reporting.

3) Draft, edit, and format emails, letters, and institutional communications.

4) Assist in scheduling, coordinating virtual meetings, and preparing summaries.

5) Organize academic or administrative information following internal guidelines.

6) Maintain clearly and timely communication with the supervisors.

7) Assisting with data entry, spreadsheet design, and documentation for the graduates’ brochure, ensuring all materials are properly organized for the supervisor to send to international students.

PREFERRED SKILLS

1) Strong ability to integrate into an international administrative team, maintaining clear and professional online communication.

2) Excellent written communication skills in English or Spanish (bilingual).

3) Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

4) Ability to follow structured task systems, and administrative procedures.

5) Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar).

6) Responsible, proactive, and committed to meeting deadlines.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1) Strong organizational and communication skills.

2) Ability to integrate into a team with members located abroad, communicating online and working through established organizational structures

3) Willingness to learn and adapt to project needs.

4) English and Spanish communication skills (bilingual required).
