Inventory Control Specialist - ERP data Integrity

Position Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data within BOMs, Kits, and general parameters within our ERP inventory systems. Manages and oversees periodic physical inventories/cycle counts and reconciles SAGE software records. Creates seamless linkages between our SAGE ERP and Ecommerce system platforms such as Ship station and other Ecommerce invoicing software.

This is a technical position that requires in-depth knowledge of ERP processes including inventory management, manufacturing BOMs, and invoicing.

Primary Responsibilities

· Create and maintain common data in the ERP software, including correct creation of BOMs and Kits.

· Work with cross- functional teams to ensure common data standards are maintained across the organization.

· Monitor data quality, identify, and resolve data integrity issues. Cleans up obsolete part numbers in SAGE ERP software. Audit BOM/Kit correctness and makes edits as required.

· Develop and implement data validation and verification processes.

· Maintain and update data integration to ensure seamless data flow between SAGE ERP and external ecommerce platforms.

· Misc. projects as defined by Senior Staff members.

· Oversight for best management procedures of marketplace inventories

· Oversees selection and implementation of 3rd party software integrations to SAGE and maintain operational integrity of these system(s) for communicating online web sales and marketplace sales with SAGE ERP.

Position’s Requirements

· Proactive and great attention to detail

· 2-year technical degree in Information Systems, Business, or related technical field plus 5 years’ experience with ERP systems and inventory management. Experience working with SAGE ERP a plus.

· Knowledge of ERP systems: experience working with ERP systems and understanding of BOMs, and other mechanisms to relieve inventory in a manufacturing environment, and external Ecommerce order entry and invoicing systems.

· Experience creating and implementing data models to support analysis and reporting.

· Advanced experience with MS Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, macro, etc.

· Inventory counting and audits needed to insure 95% inventory accuracy.

· Experience with electronic data uploads for inventory updates.

· SAGE 300 ERP system experience a plus.

Job Type: Full time position

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30A – 5:00P Occasional times outside this window may be required.
