Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Inventory Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels meet store demands, and assisting with various inventory-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Receiving Shipments: Process incoming shipments, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and update inventory systems accordingly.
Stock Organization: Organize and arrange merchandise on shelves and in stockrooms for easy accessibility. Ensure that products are correctly labeled and priced.
Loss Prevention: Assist in identifying and preventing inventory shrinkage by following security procedures and reporting any irregularities.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product inquiries and helping locate merchandise.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to support store operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Fishing experience is preferred but not required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in retail or inventory management is required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
Ability to lift and move merchandise up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
