Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team on a permanent and part/time basis. This role will involve supporting various aspects of the florist industry through customer assistance, answering phone sales, Keeping inventory of our line of gifts ( Chocolates, Candles, Teddy bears, etc ) and processing online orders through our POS system (Windows Based) .
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and a fast learning individual with a previous background in order processing and data management software. Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with order management systems or software is a must. Candidate should also possess a pleasant speaking voice and exhibit a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process and verify customer orders received via phone and online platforms.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding orders, products, and services.
Update order information in the system, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
Monitor and track order statuses, providing updates to customers as needed.
Identify and escalate any discrepancies or concerns to management.
Perform other misc admin tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
Proficient in using computer systems, including order management software, order processing software, and email portals
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Requirements:
Previous experience in order processing, customer service, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years.
Willingness to learn and be trained for the position
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with order management systems or software. Must possess fast-track learning capabilities and learn software quickly, with proper training provided.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Have the ability to type at a minimum speed of 25-30 words per minute.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows-based POS system or similar tools.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
MUST HAVE transportation
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with work hours
Experience in flower recognition is a plus but not required
Schedule/Benefits:
Availability to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and one weekday, with the potential for increased hours during the holiday season. Hours and days are flexible.
Hourly Pay - $18 HR to train, $20 HR to start, paid weekly. Monthly tips are paid as well.
