Metalox Minerals is a start-up company developing clean, zero-emissions technology to solve America's dependence on foreign metals production. We have a small research lab in Dania Beach at I95 and Stirling Road and we are building a production facility in Clewiston at our 32,000 sq ft building on 10 acres of industrial land.
Our founder requires the help of a lab tech or chemist at his private Dania Beach lab. The ideal candidate will have experience in hydrometallurgy, will have operated an ICP and XRF, and/or will be willing to learn. The successful candidate will be taught how to extract all metals from complex minerals in the fastest time, with the highest recovery, and with zero emissions, which is a skill-set very few people in the world have. Almost all of the company employees are bilingual English-Spanish, including the founder, so if Spanish is your native language, you won't have any problems communicating.
Our company will expand operations in Clewiston and in South America next year, so the candidate will be given opportunities to advance within the company structure, both in the USA and in the coastal region of Chile/Bolivia/Perú.
Even if you have no experience operating an ICP-OES or ED-XRF (of course, we will hire you on the spot if you do), we can teach you. But you MUST have prior experience in a chemistry lab, working with chemicals and glassware, either as a degreed chemist or lab technician. Our specialty is extractive hydrometallurgy and inorganic chemistry, so health-care experience in a clinical lab does not count for much with us, but as long as you have worked with chemicals, and know proper laboratory safety and procedures, and are willing to learn, we can teach you the skill-set required to advance your career at Metalox Minerals Corporation.
