Basic Responsibilities for Electrical Journeymen and Service Technicians are: but not limited to:
Must have detailed knowledge of the National Electrical and Local County Codes. Must be able to manage helpers. Must have their own set of hand a power tools. Must have a clean driving record and own source of transportation. Must be able to read and understand blue prints, riser diagrams, wiring diagrams, etc. Must know how to lay out the job (commercial and residential), record time and order material. Must have a positive attitude in the work environment. Must be eligible for employment in the US. Must be clean cut and have a professional appearance.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Cutting, bending, and running 1/2" & 3/4", 1" electrical conduit materials.
- Experience bending offsets, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, 90's, etc.
- Pulling electrical wiring through electrical conduit.
- Assisting in terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices.
- Must be dependable and willing to complete the project from start to finish.
- Other assigned tasks and duties as assigned.
