Role Overview
We’re hiring a detail-driven Estimator to own end-to-end estimating: plan review, quantity takeoffs, bid scoping and leveling, pricing, value engineering, negotiations, and early buyout support. Deep knowledge of Florida pricing and subcontractor markets is essential.

Responsibilities
Review plans/specs and produce accurate scopes and quantity takeoffs (CSI divisions)
Build detailed cost estimates (ROM, SD/DD/CD, hard bid, change orders, GMP support)
Solicit, compare, and level subcontractor/supplier bids; document inclusions/exclusions
Negotiate pricing, terms, and schedules; recommend awards
Prepare bid tabs, scope sheets, VE options, and schedule of values
Maintain cost databases, unit prices, and vendor/sub lists across Florida regions
Support procurement and buyout (quotes, POs, sub awards)
Coordinate with management on budgets, timelines, and risk items
Qualifications
Proven experience as a construction estimator (residential/commercial)
Excellent plan reading and takeoff skills; strong commercial sense for pricing
Confident negotiator with subcontractors and suppliers
Proficiency with Bluebeam (or similar), PlanSwift/STACK (or similar), and Excel
Knowledge of Florida labor/material markets and typical scopes
Organized, timely, and clear communicator; bilingual (EN/ES) a plus
Miami-based with ability to coordinate statewide
Compensation & Schedule
Full-time; competitive pay based on experience
Monday–Friday (some flexibility based on bid schedules)
