Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanics and property maintenance, with expertise in HVAC/R systems. This role involves providing exceptional field service to our clients, ensuring their equipment operates efficiently and effectively. The Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining various systems, including air conditioning and ammonia refrigeration.
Duties
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on residential plumbing workorders, electrical, water heaters, appliances, etc.
Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems using schematics and design specifications.
Perform field service tasks including installation, servicing, and repair of equipment.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to HVAC/R systems.
Experience
Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within the HVAC/R industry.
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in property maintenance.
Familiarity with air conditioning systems, ammonia refrigeration, and related technologies.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
