Folding shutter corp. has been protecting homes in South Florida since 1969. We are a high-volume, well-established shutter company looking for help for our manufacturing facility in our welding department.
Our currently welder will be retiring and would like to train our next lead welder prior to this event.
TIG welding
Responsibilities:
- Assist welder in setting up welding equipment and tools
-Cut metal to precise size
- Clean and prepare workpieces for welding
- Hold or clamp workpieces in position for welding
- Operate power tools and hand tools under supervision
- Perform basic math calculations related to measurements and materials
- Support in using a press brake machine for bending metal sheets
Skills:
- Tig welding
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Basic understanding of welding processes and safety precautions
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
