Gulfstream Distributors is a growing food distributor in South Florida representing several well-known bakery and consumer brands in supermarkets such as, Publix, Winn-Dixie, Fresco y Mas, Sedanos, Milams Markets, Walmart, Target, and more.
We are seeking a Driver/Merchandiser in the South Florida area to deliver, take orders, and merchandise company products to existing accounts. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday. A company van is provided.
Job Responsibilities:
Merchandise, order and deliver company products to established grocery store accounts on a weekly basis.
Maintain proper service of accounts on an assigned route in company vans.
Maintain proper rotation of products.
Demonstrate knowledge of company products, pricing and promotions.
Keep neat and accurate records of inventory.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, and develop strong relationships with store personnel and management.
Work with store management to secure optimal product placement, and improve visibility.
Maximize sales while minimizing product shrinkage.
Provide excellent customer service.
Arrive to work in a timely manner for 5:00 AM start time.
Requirements:
Ability to work independently, set goals, develop a plan and execute.
Good communication skills
Must have the ability to work Monday-Friday.
Additional days and overtime may be available based on volume and seasonality.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
