H & J Contracting has an immediate opening for a full-time parts runner/shop helper.
A qualified candidate must have a valid FL driver’s license with a clean driving record, a clean criminal record, and be able to pass a drug screen.
This job requires driving to various locations with frequent stops.
No CDL license required. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently and follow directions.
Under general supervision of the Parts Supervisor, perform a variety of duties may include but not limited to:
Drive a company vehicle to pick-up and delivery of parts and equipment.
processing delivery, and/or storing of parts and equipment in the parts warehouse.
Perform parts warehouse inventory
Assist mechanics, general shop cleaning, sweeping shop, pressure washing
Perform related work, and other duties as assigned.
Candidate must be attentive to detail and can work well independently
Must have a reliable work history and a valid Florida driver’s license.
Job consists of delivering parts across South Florida.
Candidate must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays.
Benefits include Health, vision, dental insurance and paid holidays after 90-day probationary period. Paid time off after 1 year of service. We offer weekly pay.
