Description We are in search of a Systems Administrator to join our team in Middleburg, Florida. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. The position is within the Information Technology industry, and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities include: Managing and monitoring installed systems and infrastructure to ensure high availability. Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies to safeguard data. Implementing operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes as required. Installing and configuring new hardware and software, including virtual desktops. Providing technical guidance for development, design, and systems integration. Resolving escalated issues from initial contact to final resolution. Upholding the highest level of service for customers and responding promptly and accurately to all requests for information. Utilizing analytical skills to research, identify viable options, draw sound conclusions, and make thoughtful recommendations, considering overall risk and both short-term and long-term impacts. Applying project management knowledge to communicate objectives and maintain deadlines with great attention to detail. Performing various tasks using PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, Windows OS, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, VMware, and vSphere.Requirements Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role or a similar position. Proficiency in Active Directory is essential. Managing and troubleshooting Windows OS experience is required. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Exchange and Office 365. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting is a necessity. Experience with VMware and vSphere is crucial. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently is required. Must possess excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
