NBC6 AND Telemundo 51 are looking for a Multiplatform Producer/MMJ to create and present original videos, segments and shows created for our streaming channels that can also be used on linear, OTT and other platforms. We are looking for a journalist with a proven ability to create videos that are shareable and are relevant to an audience on any platform. This person will also need to use someone else’s idea or content and repurpose it for the appropriate platform.Our ideal candidate is someone who is full of ideas, bilingual (English/Spanish), can appear on camera and can take a project, big or small, from concept to completion.The role requires being able to write, produce, and edit video as well as move seamlessly from one platform to the next as necessary.  You will need to work closely with news leadership, producers and reporters to select the most compelling and relevant stories for the duopoly.  
Responsibilities:Find opportunities to present or produce live breaking news on our streaming channels using either our VMix or linear control room.Produce content for our streaming channels in English and Spanish, re-purposing content or creating segments or programs either live or recorded.Ensure that we are being live, urgent and relevant on the NBC6 South Florida News and Telemundo Florida streaming channels.Pitch, edit and post digital-first video products using repurposed content and find the best ways to promote and expand exposure of this content on social, digital and OTT platforms.Produce Beyond the Forecast and El Tiempo+.Pitch, produce and appear in live or taped specials on linear, streaming, OTT and social media.Help grow social media accounts for station and individuals.Look for opportunities to produce recap hits on big stories/investigations for multiple platforms.Participate in daily editorial meetings to identify content.Ensure good content is shared with duopoly partners.Fill in for general assignment reporters.
