Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in North Miami, Florida. This role is primarily involved in accounting and data entry, with an emphasis on transitioning from QuickBooks to a new software system. The role will be based on-site and requires the ability to adapt quickly to new software systems.Responsibilities: Engage in data entry tasks and maintain accurate financial records. Utilize Accounting Software Systems for daily operations. Assist in the transition from QuickBooks to a new software system. Extract and process payroll information from the software system. Understand and apply accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Monitor and manage customer accounts, responding appropriately as needed. Proactively learn and adapt to new software systems and processes. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth implementation of the new software. Utilize IBM AS/400 and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems as needed.
