DescriptionWork from specifications, shop orders and work instructions.Review material and product requirements. May prepare any preparation operations as required such as masking and hanging parts onto holding devices. Obtain specified paint or other coating material and appropriate spray gun. Check operation and make preliminary adjustments or repairs to paint gun.Receive bodies, cabs, doors or other components for primer, intermediate or final application of coating materials, check substrates and general condition.Activate paint according to supplier recommendation. Apply primers and multiple top coats in prescribed sequence. Set baker temperature and timer and bake according to manufacturer recommendations.Clean and maintain spray equipment after each use. Clean and maintain paint booth according to approved maintenance schedule.
