Square 1a full-service restaurant specializing in gourmet burgers, entrees, craft cocktails and draft beeris now hiring for Servers and Bartenders at The Villages location.
Candidates should possess a positive attitude, communication skills, sense of urgency, reliability, teamwork and the willingness to learn.
Server & Bartender job duties include, but not limited to: Combine product knowledge, salesmanship, personality and charm to create a joyful dining experience for guests and regulars. You must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining confidence, composure and a great eye for detail. Recommending, creatively describing, comparing and contrasting bar products and discussing ingredients, recipes and preparation of and alternatives for food are also a key to this role. Bartenders must have knowledge of classic cocktail recipes and bartending skills.
FOH staff are paid FL minimum wage plus tips.

Once upon a time (1964), in Norman, Oklahoma, Bill Shumate opened his first restaurant, a burger joint called "Across the Street" (it was located across the street from the University of Oklahoma). Many years and restaurants later, he yearned to go back to the business he loved best: burgers.
