Work Location: 1501 W. Silver Springs Blvd. Ocala, FL 34475
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Qualifications: Bi-lingual English/Spanish
Minimum
Must have current Florida Dental Hygiene license
Must have a current/active CPR certificate
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of dental terminology
Knowledge of dental hygiene principles and practices
Skills in using dental instruments and equipment and performingdental prophylaxis and scaling and root planning
Ability to instruct patients in preventive dental techniques,
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to manage time so can adequately treat patients but stilltreat the number of patients needed and in a timely manner
Ability to work with dentists, assistants, student assistants and volunteers in a way that promotes teamwork and the betterment of the residents of Marion County
Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a dental hygienist for the Florida Dept. of health. May provide dental services/education at schools periodically.
