Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Golf Cart Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and/or in depth maintenance and repairs on our customers' golf carts, both gas and electric, as well as the business equipment and vehicles, to ensure that all are running safely and efficiently. The Mechanic will work closely with other technicians to diagnose and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, oil changes, tire rotations, brake adjustments/replacements, and battery recovery and replacement.
- Conduct diagnostic tests using specialized tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Repair and replace components, such as motors, starters/generators, and suspension systems.
- Overhaul and rebuild components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts replaced.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform complex repairs.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools. (Owning your own tools is not a requirement, but it is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
