Our family owned antique & garden shop of 29 years has grown into a locally loved establishment where locals and travelers source their plants, ceramic pots & yard art. They rely on our garden staff for solid growing information and enjoy the vibe of the garden which includes house plants, ornamentals, natives, edibles and small trees.
The ideal applicant for this position has a broad knowledge of plants, especially those in USDA Zone 9 - 9a, a love for plants & people, great interpersonal skills, organization, structure & accountability.
Experience in managing a small team to maintain a busy garden shop and growing experience would be helpful. Other duties include serving as the liaison to our growing operation, ordering plants from wholesalers, building team esteem, hosting promotional events and exceeding customer expectations.
