We are currently seeking a motivated carpenter to join our team. You will work with the owner to construct and install wooden sheds and outdoor structures that comply with local building codes.
Structures include building frameworks, partitions, door and window frames, rafters, flooring, metal and shingle roofs, and ramps. You must know how to work with raw and finished materials, and have a good working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment.
Knowledge of framing walls, windows, and doors.
Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
Install plywood floors, siding, insulation, shingles, and metal roofs.
Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines
Pay depending on experience. Part-time to start with full-time potential.
Required Skills and Education
- Must have attention to detail and good work ethic
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction
- Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools
- Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity
- Willing to train the right person
We build sheds on-site in Ocala, Gainesville, and the Jacksonville area and leave from our shop in Citra each morning.
