We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of financial records in accordance with GAAP standards. This role is responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of the month-end close process.The Senior Accountant will also review work performed by Staff Accountants, support audits, and partner cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, and operations teams to deliver accurate, decision-ready financial insights.What You Will Do:Prepare and post timely, accurate journal entries in support of month-end closeReview and analyze financial statements, trial balances, and account activityPerform detailed balance sheet reconciliations with proper supporting documentationReview journal entries and reconciliations prepared by Staff Accountants, ensuring accuracy and complianceIdentify discrepancies, perform variance analysis, and recommend corrective actionsPrepare and present financial reports, schedules, and management reporting packagesSupport cash reconciliations, forecasting, and budgeting activitiesAssist with internal and external audit requests and maintain audit-ready documentationEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and proceduresPartner with FP&A and cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and data accuracyContribute to process improvements, documentation, and financial controls optimizationComplete ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned by leadership
