As a Rental Assistant/Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive rental experience for every customer. Join a team that values integrity, teamwork, and the opportunity for growth within the rental department.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for customers during electric cart pick-up and return, providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance.Answer phone calls and emails to assist with customer inquiries and manage reservations.Review and approve rental addresses to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.Receive, wash, charge, and stage electric carts for customer pick-up, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and readiness.Inspect carts for damage, address any issues, and ensure all equipment is in top condition before and after rentals.Collect payments and maintain accountability for carts, keys, and related equipment.Assist with inventory management and basic maintenance to support smooth rental operations.Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and positive reviews.Communicate effectively with management, homeowners associations (HOAs), and customers to coordinate operations.Perform additional cleaning duties and tasks as assigned by the Rental Manager.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent work experience required.Ability to work independently after initial training and guidance.Strong follow-through skills and a commitment to completing tasks accurately and on time.Proficient with computers and able to learn new software systems quickly.Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and effective problem-solving abilities.Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortable with bending and stooping as part of daily tasks.Ability to operate gas and battery-powered equipment safely.Strong customer service orientation and understanding of its impact on business success.Ability to work well as part of a team.Compensation$22.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on experience.
