Looking for someone to assist with day-to-day small farm chores and operations. To start with, this will be a part-time position but could potentially be full-time as the farm operations grow. Having a good mechanical aptitude would be beneficial as this position will require you to help with various types of projects. This would include paddock fence repairs, installing new fencing, chicken coop maintenance, animal husbandry (various types of animals), tractor maintenance, painting, mowing, planting, weeding, landscaping, and other duties as they arise. Beekeeping experience would be a bonus. Additional skills that would be beneficial, but not required, are light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Must be able to lift heavy items. Any tools, equipment, and resources to complete needed tasks will be furnished. In search of someone seeking long term, steady employment. You should be flexible as the hours will vary depending on work that needs to be completed. A background check will be done (note: you will not necessarily be disqualified if you have some infractions in your past). Please have reliable transportation. You must be comfortable around all types of dogs.
