Legacy Beach Homes ( https://legacybeachhomes.com ) is a growing, family-owned company that operates vacation rental homes between 30A and Destin and is looking for a new office team member to work in our office in Miramar Beach.
We’re seeking a drug-free, hyper-organized, super-reliable person with no criminal record who is comfortable with windows-based applications yet not afraid to order/stock/organize our rental inventory (linens, towels, soaps, etc.).
The position will start off as part-time (20 hours/week) at $17 per hour and will grow into full-time at $20 per hour as you learn to complete different functions in our company.
You’ll be asked to arrive at 9 AM M-F and will begin working 4 hours per day learning and completing various tasks until you run out of work that day.
As you learn to complete more tasks, you’ll need more hours until you reach 8 hours per day. Although we assume that this process to reach full time/40 hours per week (at $20 per hour) will take 30 days, it may take longer or shorter depending upon how quickly you learn.
After a year, if you prove that you are truly someone who is a stable, long-term team member who is willing to learn and take on more responsibility than required, we are willing to pay you substantially more. Basically, we are happy to pay more if you make yourself more valuable to our team.
Some of the tasks that you will be taught are:
Inventory Receiving/Organization:
1. Receive packages from UPS/Fedex (almost always under 30 lbs)
2. Unbox packages and put them in an organized fashion on our storage shelves.
3. Check off inventory received for new properties.
3. Order inventory (linens, soaps, towels, etc.) from Amazon as needed.
4. Take laundry bags (in your own vehicle) to our laundry facility about 2 miles away
5. Pickup laundry (in your own vehicle) and organize on shelves.
6. Prepare/bag laundry and amenities packages for each cleaning
7. Keep shelves extremely organized
Office Tasks/Computer related.
1. Make some minor edits/updates on Airbnb/VRBO listings as needed
2. Pay off credit cards online
3. Categorize basic/simple transactions in quickbooks online
4. Post to Facebook (content provided)
5. Pay invoices that are paid by credit card
6. Respond to Guest messages using our proprietary app. (You’ll be paid additionally for
each response whether or not you are on the clock.)
7. Confirm mortgage payments have been made paid each month
Qualifications:
1. You MUST pass a criminal background check. No need to apply otherwise.
2. You MUST pass a drug test. No need to apply otherwise.
3. You MUST have reliable transportation
4. You MUST have a smartphone
5. Hyper-organized
4. Not afraid of unboxing and inventorying stuff (less than 30 lbs) …some boxes are dusty.
5. Comfortable with windows-based computer and applications
6. Knowledge of Airbnb/VRBO/Facebook/vacation rental industry a plus
7. Willing to put sacks of laundry in your own vehicle to go to/from laundry that is
approximately two miles aways on a daily basis.
