Applicant must have at least 1 year experience in land surveying and be able to adjust and operate surveying instruments, such as GPS and electronic distance-measuring equipment, compile notes, communicate technical information, maintain records, reports, or files, direct and coordinate activities of workers or staff, conduct geological surveys, land surveys, topographical surveys and elevations. The applicant must also be able to obtain land survey data using surveying instruments and operate land or site surveying instruments as well as read maps and enter data.
