Senior Accountant Winter Park, FL $65- $75K DOE + BenefitsSeeking a focused, bright and industrious Senior General Accountant to join our growing team. As a Senior Accountant, you will provide vital support to help streamline the company's financial processes. If you have a BS degree in Accounting or related field, 3-5 years of senior accounting experience, an eye for detail and a team-focused attitude, you could be an ideal match for this position!Responsibilities:Maintain general ledger, record and document company financial transactionsMonthly account reconciliations for multiple corporate entitiesPrepare financial statements according to monthly close scheduleFacilitate and manage monthly close process for multiple corporate entitiesPrepare accrual entries for payroll and all corporate expensesPrepare and submit multi-state monthly sales tax reportsResponsible for journal entry, GL, balance sheet and account reconciliationsReconcile credit card accounts per GL entriesDaily reporting and monitoring of sales and cash receivedAssist with external audit processAssist with documenting processes and monitoring of internal controlsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field3-5 years Senior full cycle general accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP standards and multi-state sales tax lawsSelf-motivated and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervisionEffective with multi-shifting priorities in fast paced environmentExcellent analytical, organizational and communication skillsAdvanced proficiency with MS Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tablesProficiency with MS Ofc; MS Dyn GP or similar ERP such as SAP, Sage or Oracle
