THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION
Currently seeking Medicaid Eligibility Specialist whose duties will include making outbound calls to hospital patients and screen for potential Medicaid eligibility according to state-based guidelines. Complete and submit appropriate screening application to our in-house Medicaid Coordination Manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
Making outbound calls to hospital patients to screen for potential Medicaid eligibility according to state-based guidelines.
Complete and submit Medicaid Applications to the Dept. of Children and Families.
Assist Patients in providing the required verifications to complete their application.
Follow up with Dept. of Children and Families to ensure timely and accurate processing of applications.
Updating Hospital Revenue Cycle system and Company’s system.
Qualifications:
Experience in customer service, specifically working with culturally diverse populations, the elderly and/or disabled.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in Medicaid Eligibility/Counseling, Customer Service and EPIC knowledge are required.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
HIGH VOLUME CALL EXPERIENCE preferred.
