Order Pulling Supervisor for Plant Nursery
Job summary:
Knox Horticulture is seeking a motivated Order Pulling Crew Leader to join our Finished Plant department. This position is part of a team that handles the sale and delivery of finished annuals (bedding plants) to customers throughout Florida. Primary duties will involve answering customer and outside salesmen inquiries, emailing or texting pictures and selling from an available inventory of bedding plants.
Strong candidates for this position will have 1+ years of experience of working in a nursery or greenhouse environment and being bilingual in English and Spanish is very helpful.
Essential job duties include:
Duties include, but are not limited to, locating and retrieving plants, instructing crew on pulling orders correctly based on pick tickets, with attention to detail for customer pick-ups and deliveries.
Perform weekly inventory on all available plants and conduct stock rotation.
May work on special projects as time permits.
Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize orders.
Candidate must be able to work outdoors in the elements. Position requires lots of walking, standing and lifting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Functions as a liaison between the order pullers and Customer Service Reps and/or internal company departments to help resolve service issues including inventory availability and shipping details.
Has strong English communication skills. Bilingual English & Spanish is required.
Self-driven, organized, and able to prioritize multiple projects.
Must be able to follow-through and complete responsibilities.
Flexible to a changing sales and service environment.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to perform work outdoors in greenhouse/nursery area in order to evaluate crop condition and count inventory.

Compensation:
Compensation is commensurate with experience/background. While we posted an entry level wage for limited experience, if you are a well qualified applicant the wage is dependent on that experience. We also offer benefits, vacation, holiday pay, health care and 401K+ matching.
