Job Description:
We operate a private architectural firm here in Orlando, FL.
Background:
5 years relevant experience working in a Project Management / Architect’s office.
Public and private building design background is required.
Must have at least 3 years of single-family residential plus 3 years of commercial experience, all on Florida-based projects.
Technical Experience:
Expert in AutoCAD 2016 or later
Expert in Adobe CS4 & Microsoft Office Suite Programs
Experience Needed:
Listed ability to implement projects from Conceptual Design through Construction Administration
Comprehensive portfolio of work examples
Listed skills in the following areas:
o Leadership
o Supervision of others
o Interpersonal relationships
o Teamwork management
o Customer service
o Motivation
o Problem-solving
The candidate will be required to do the following:
Weekly meeting with the firm’s principal to review work schedule and project progress.
Working with in-house and outside consultants on all projects
Managing all outside consultants (MEP, Civil, Structural)
Managing all outside production work
Submission of written weekly project progress reports to the following:
The firm’s principal clients
Be open to drive to projects for field measurements.
We expect to use our AutoCAD drafting standards to draft the existing conditions of projects of both residential and commercial types.
Be fully versed in Florida Residential Construction & Building Codes.
Candidate will be held to the following Milestones:
Semi-monthly reviews of progress on projects by drawing sheet
Milestone dates for review of:
o 100% Schematic Design Documents Completion with the Firm’s principal and clients
o 100% Design Development Documents Completion (if applicable)
o 50% Construction Documents Completion
o 100% Construction Documents Completion
o Issuance of Bidding and Permitting Documents
o Construction Administration (if applicable)
Candidate Performance Evaluation:
Minimum levels of required performance reviewed every 6 months (deadlines, skills, quality of product produced)
Survey of sub consultant's satisfaction with work experience
Survey of client’s satisfaction with work performance
Survey of firm’s satisfaction with work performance (peer & managerial review)
