Description Orlando area company is looking for an Accounting Manager. The company is looking for a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager will include, but not limited to the following. Assist in accounting functions including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses, accrued liabilitie, fixed assets, long-term debt, deferred revenues, etc. Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, analysis, reconciliation and reporting. Assist with annual audits and due diligence work. Ensures that financial statements and board reports are accurate, complete and generated on a timely basis. Developing internal control guidelines, policies and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit management, administration, and other activities. Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, such as fixed assets, bank accounts, accruals, and prepaids. Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and standards. Establishing and maintaining financial controls with the accounting department. Preparing and presenting financial reports and risk analysis. Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of internal procedures and processes. Participate in special projects as needed. Recommend ways to enhance process, solution oriented, great problem-solving skills.
