Description Job Overview:We are looking for a PPS Business Analyst who will play a pivotal role in optimizing our project portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of project dependencies, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to improving portfolio planning and delivery. Manage and maintain a detailed understanding of projects within the assigned portfolio.
Conduct periodic reviews of projects, updating priorities, sequencing, and relevant metadata.
Provide accurate project data for strategic planning processes, including the Annual Capital Plan (ACP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Drive data accuracy during monthly forecasting activities.
Foster strong relationships with business partners and technology teams, serving as a communication conduit for project priorities.
Maintain accurate project records in the portfolio system of record.
Stay current with the organization's structure and align project sponsorship accordingly.
Ensure compliance with capital funding processes and rules.
Collaborate with partners to establish reporting cadence and processes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy
Proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements
Familiarity with capital funding processes and rules
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient in project portfolio management tools
