Job Title: Electrical Designer - Theme Park IndustryLocation: Orlando, FLJob Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Designer to join our team in the theme park industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing control panels and wiring harnesses for various attractions and facilities within the park. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines.Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop control panels and wiring harnesses for theme park attractions and facilities.
Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
Conduct site visits to assess existing electrical systems and gather necessary data for design improvements.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
Provide technical support during the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during the construction and operation of theme park attractions.
Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical designs and modifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the theme park or entertainment industry.
Control panel design experience
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, and EPLAN.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
Willingness to travel to various theme park locations as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.
Familiarity with theme park ride control systems and safety protocols.
