To learn more about Conti Federal, please visit http://www.contifederal.com/ General Position Description The Benefits and Compliance Administrator is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our organization. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. This hands-on and very tactile position is a great opportunity to become a part of a growing company. You will be expected to work from our Headquarters Office based in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities Benefits Renewal

Analyze current benefits, evaluating the use, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience and competitive trends in benefits programs, and identify the company's stance.

Survey industry trends. Complete benefits surveys and review information obtained from the results. Analyze complex benefits information. Forecast trends and assist with future benefits designs. Develop specific recommendations for review by management.

Negotiate with vendors and administrators for best plans, options and rates.

Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment and summary plan descriptions. Provide training and support to group benefits associates, home office associates and the field staff.

Provide customer service support to internal and external customers. Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package.

Benefits Administration

Documents and performs the benefits administration process (medical, dental, vision and other related benefits) and maintains employee files.

Manages FMLA and all state disability claims and paperwork.

Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.

Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, QDROs, QMCSOs, distributions, loans, and hardships.

Gather employee data and oversee the processing of monthly billings and the preparation of vouchers for payment of administrative fees for all group plans.

Monitor administrative costs of benefits programs and recommend cost containment strategies, including alternative methods for administration and funding. Prepare budgetary recommendations and assist in the monitoring, verifying and reconciling of budgeted funds.

Compliance

Ensures compliance with Conti Federal policies and procedures to ensure the organization is operating consistently.

Performs all compliance related tasks to ensure yearly compliance is met (AAP, EEO-1, Vets, ACA).

Stay up to date on all general labor law compliance and issues.

Facilitate and ensure appropriate HR-related training and compliance. communications to associates.

Identify and escalate potential HR compliance concerns to management.

Employee Relations

Advises, counsels and proactively works to resolve job-related concerns.

Assist with employee-related investigations.

Effectively collaborate with legal, risk, and other interested stakeholders.

Other Duties

Review and draft applicable procedures and policies.

Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

For Security Clearance Requirements – Must be a US Citizen.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

2 to 3 years equivalent relevant work experience, preferably in the federal construction market.

Track record of achievement and career progression.

Self-directed, organized and self-motivated to accomplish goals.

Experience with state and federal law requirements related to Benefits, Compensation and Talent Acquisition/hiring.

Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint; experience with HRIS and benefits databases.

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.

Effective planning and priority setting to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs.

Knowledge of benefits contract language.

Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, and Social Security and DOL requirements.

Excellent communication and organization skills.

Occasional travel to project sites and other offices
