Manager, your role will be integral to the Production Operations team within our Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) division located in Orlando, Florida. Here, you'll immerse yourself in a culture of continuous process enhancement, collaborating to identify and eradicate inefficiencies that occur within our production processes. This role will be responsible for leading a diverse team of Manufacturing Engineers supporting various programs across the RMS lines of business.The selected candidate will be responsible for:Functionally leading a team of 15 manufacturing engineers through all phases of the program lifecycle from proposals and hardware design through sell offProviding guidance, training, and career developmentEstablishing and leading a functional strategy and uniting the team around a common missionLeveraging data as proactive health indicators to identify risks to production, drive decisions and continued process enhancementsCollaborating cross-functionally to continue to drive synergy between teams and resolve issuesEnhancing process consistency and knowledge continuity to promote repeatability and efficiencySupporting the Design for Manufacturing and Test and ensuring it is carried out at all stages of development.Supporting 1LMx projects such as automation, digital thread, model based work instructions, etc.Managing functional budgets including MSRV and DCIWHO WE AREOur group, the Manufacturing Engineering team, is composed of 27 professionals with a range of skill and experience.
