job detailsWe're seeking a highly experienced Senior Diesel Mechanic to join our fast-paced environment. You'll diagnose and repair a wide range of issues on heavy and light duty trucks, both diesel and gasoline powered. This includes engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, hydraulics, and even body components. Diagnose and repair all truck systems (engine, brakes, electrical, etc.) for peak performance and safety.

Manage your workload efficiently, including DVIRs, work orders, road calls, and delegating tasks.

Communicate clearly with supervisors and drivers, recommending preventative maintenance.

Be a team player by handling tires, paperwork, inventory, and keeping the workspace clean and safe.

Utilize diagnostic tools and prioritize safety through regular inspections and adherence to protocols.

Lead by example with extensive ethics and dependability.

Qualifications:

Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and physical Brake Inspector Certification (or receive within 90 days of hire) DOT Inspector Certification (highly preferred) Air Conditioning Certification

Well-equipped toolbox (up to 2" tools) with some specialty tools.

The essential functions of this role include:

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends

Mechanical Maintenance (3 years of experience is preferred)

Welding

Fabrication

Repair Engines (3 years of experience is required)

Repair Transmissions
