This includes larger, more complex shows, at times taking place in multiple venues. This role will also provide to support to the Labor Services Team, including delegating tasks, auditing work performed, and providing guidance and cohesion throughout the scheduling process. The Senior Labor Control Specialist will work with data from multiple sources to ensure that operational needs are met, and contractual process are adhered to. The position follows an in-person schedule working part-time in-office and/or show site based out of Las Vegas, NV.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assist Show Service Manager and Department Heads to determine qualifications and quantity of labor required for each event.

Notify Show Service Manager when suggested labor requirements exceed Salesperson’s planned budgets.

Assist appropriate Department Heads regarding full time team member assignments for local events.

Assign qualified part-time show team members for local events as required.

Schedule Union or Contract labor as needed to produce local events.

Submit timecards to payroll for all part time and union team members.

Log all team member timecards and maintain these records for the purpose of payment and billing.

Maintain and update the evaluation database for all part-time show team members.

Assist Show Services Manager in recruiting and qualifying part-time technical team members to maintain a labor pool to assist in the production of local events.

Assist with CAD diagrams for Hotel Services and Branch Sales departments when required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & ExperienceRequired At least 3 years of previous scheduling experience. Previous management/leadership experience. Previous experience working with a collective bargaining agreement. Strong software skills, including email, timekeeping, phone system, and/or payroll. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data management tools and creating automated processes. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to read, speak, and write in English. Highschool diploma or equivalent.Preferred Any level of college, technical degree, or certification in business administration, finance, event planning, or similar.
