Description We are looking for a dedicated Developer/Software Engineer to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be applying your practical knowledge of application development and engineering to design, implement, test, and deploy new software applications/platforms as well as changes to existing platforms. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and requires onsite presence twice a week.Responsibilities:
Design backend services using JVM, Microservices using spring boot, and project reactor in Java 17.
Work with AWS technologies like ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redis, CloudWatch, Kinesis, AWS Gateway, etc.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of caching technologies (Redis, in-memory, etc.) and data stores (MariaDB, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
Debug/Triage using metrics, logging, monitoring, etc.
Use source control systems (Git) and implement CI/CD procedures via Jenkins/harness.
Build and maintain highly scalable and performant distributed applications and web services.
Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of software engineering, analysis, and design experience with the full software development lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with functional programming patterns, Microservices, Git, Junit.
Demonstrated experience with Java, Spring Framework, SQL and NoSQL-based databases, writing complex SQL queries.
Hands-on knowledge of using AppDynamics and Splunk.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience deploying and scaling within a cloud infrastructure.
