Description We are looking to add a Sr. Financial Analyst to our team based in Orlando, Florida, operating within the Financial Services industry. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you'll play an integral role in our operations by managing and prioritizing workload effectively, maintaining detail-oriented relationships, and utilizing your strong organizational and analytical skills. This role is 100% remote! Seeking a strong blend of finance/analytical skills as well as some accounting background (financial reporting, reconciliations, etc.).Responsibilities: Utilize business knowledge of (re)insurance concepts to streamline operations Maintain and develop detail-oriented relationships with clients, reinsurers, and internal teams Employ intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, for various tasks Use systems like Hyperion competently for optimal workflow Exhibit strong organizational and analytical skills, paying close attention to detail Prioritize workload effectively in accordance with contractual obligations, volume, and/or urgency Apply knowledge of Health and Special Risk reinsurance practices and principles, if available Leverage experience with (re)insurance treaty (contract) if applicable Utilize industry-relevant designations and general knowledge of (re)insurance operations systems and data structuresRequirements Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Proficiency in business systems is a key requirement for this role. Mastery of Confluence software is essential. The candidate should have the ability to use Data Mining Techniques effectively. Knowledge of the About Time software package is a requirement. Understanding and executing accounting functions is a key aspect of this role. The candidate should have experience in auditing processes. Experience in budget processes is a prerequisite for this role.
