Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: Modify and use aerospace simulation tools involving missile engagements in 3-DOF and 6-DOF. Familiarity with basic missile simulation systems including aerodynamic coefficients, mass and propulsion properties, seekers, divert systems and performance. Some familiarity with radar systems and general missile defense constructs. Must be able to work collaboratively with a small team to generate technical approach to problems, execute approach, and document results and create presentations to be delivered for customers.QualificationsBasic aerospace engineering is required. Some software knowledge is essential. Some expertise in at least one of the following languages, C, C, FORTRAN, Python, etc. Experience with MS Office, excel, power point is helpful. At least a B.S. in a Engineering or Physics is required. Some experience with aerodynamics and missile system simulation is required.
