He/She is responsible for assisting Executive Chef in day to day operations, including, but not limited too; box lunches, up to 40 daily. Fresh baked goods, plated salads, and desserts,
( including preparation) Receiving, rotating weekly cooler/freezer stock.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge in food, cooking fundamentals, knife skill, and culinary equipment
Efficient in multi tasking, and exceptional organizational - housekeeping skills
Ability to meet daily goals and time lines, while giving exceptional service to guest
Physical/Mental ability to work 100 days straight, JUNE - MID SEPTEMBER
Punctual, and self disciplined, that requires little supervision
Physically able to bend, lift a minimum 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time
Exceptional, eye for detail, and creative scratch culinary skill
A passion for the outdoors, and ability adapt to all weather conditions. Highly recommended
to have previous, Alaska seasonal work experience, but not required.
