Looking for a big life change?Feeling cooped up and ready for that change? The meditation that is incorporated into island life and the clear salt water of the Caribbean Sea is calling you. We are looking for a driven, experienced, professional Executive and Sous Chef to join our team and run the line with our seasoned crew in our full scratch kitchen. We are dry-aging all prime black angus beef in house, making charcuterie baking bread for service everyday, all sauces and stocks are made from scratch, baking desserts, butchering all primal cuts and steaks by hand on St. John in the Virgin Islands. We need a strong second for our steakhouse team for this coming season, if this sounds enticing to you, this could be your chance to move to an island in the Caribbean and join our restaurant family. Starting salary is extremely competitive which includes a month’s paid vacation when we close for end of season, September-October (dates vary and will be determined before end of each season.) Emergency health insurance for med vac and full health insurance paid by the company after one year on staff. Annual pay raise of 5% of salary to go into affect each year on staff. Two days off a week, unless otherwise needed, 50 hour set work week (lord knows sometimes we go over) life is good on St. John, this could be your chance to come experience it.
